This Elefun motorised butterfly catching game from Hasbro makes fun christmas gifts for girls.

Giggles galore are guaranteed when he takes a deep breath, blows his 4 foot, blue, trunk and colourful butterflies fly into the air.
Try and catch them all to win the game.

The colourful butterflies are made from tissue paper which are loaded into the elephant shaped base before you attach the 4ft trunk. There is a fan in the base which when switched on blows air up through the trunk sending the butterflies spiralling into the air. This game requires 4 x C batteries which are not included.

As soon as the butterflies come out of his trunk they need to catch them with their nets and whoever has the most butterflies wins.

Each of the nets is a different colour and before play can begin the handle need to be attached to the nets.

A great little game which gives manic fun. You just start her up and the butterfiles get blown in the air by the elephant for you to catch. Just make sure you have good battereis - tried it with some cheap batteries and it the elephant didn't have enough "puff". Changed them for duracel and away she blew!

Well as said the kids love it, I got it for them for Christmas and they still play with it, they had one previously I think it now lives at the grandparents house so they can play with it there. It's not too messy as far as games go and it keeps my 7yr old nephew and 3yr old niece entertained, I also saw they for sale in Asda which seems to be a good deal, if you buy this I don't think you'll be disappointed... unless the batteries run out :P

My daughter loved this when she was younger. Now I have purchased it for my niece who is 4 & she loves it too. What's not to like about catching butterflies in a net? It's even fun just to dance around the elephant while the butterflies fly all around you. I highly recommend it.

This is a pretty simple game which will get your kids up on their feet and a bit active for a while.

Once you've put together the butterfly nets (which is pretty easy, you just thread the plastic hood through the mesh) and put the batteries in - you're good to go!

Elefun is a plastic elephant with a long trunk made of flexible plastic (the sort of material a thick garden waste bag is made of) and when you switch him on, a fan inside the generously trunked pachyderm causes butterflies to blow from his trunk. The aim of the game is to catch the butterflies with the net. I have two girls aged 3 and 5 and they both enjoy playing this game. It doesn't keep their attention for very long - but long enough for them to have a few goes and have a laugh.

If your children accidentally hit the trunk when lunging for a butterfly then it has a tendency to flop down and you'll need to manually straighten it out again - but that's easily done. The fan blows most of the butterflies out but it's not that powerful and there is usually a couple left inside.

In a nutshell: This will kill a good few minutes and get your children up and about chasing butterflies! As a parent I appreciate the fact that is all fits back in the box easily and it quick to set up when it next comes out of the cupboard
